Overview
Timex reaches back to 1976 for this one, and the dial is the whole point: the layout takes its cue from the face of a rotary telephone, the motif that gives the watch its name. A 37mm gold-tone stainless steel case, 12mm deep and finished in a mix of brushed and polished surfaces, frames a black dial with gold hour, minute and second hands. Acrylic crystal sits over the top the way it would have in the seventies, the caseback snaps on, and a Timex M03B quartz movement runs it. Water resistant to 50 metres, so a shower is no problem. The 20mm brown leather strap fastens on a buckle and fits wrists from 150 to 210mm. Part of the Timex LAB line, and covered by a two-year warranty.
