Presented as Ball Watch's Engineer II Galloping Horse, a 2026 Year of the Fire Horse zodiac timepiece, this 40mm case in corrosion-resistant 904L stainless steel encases a Swiss automatic movement with 100m water resistance.
The dial, crafted from natural Tiger's Eye in a warm golden-brown, exhibits a unique chatoyancy with a cat's-eye shimmer. At centre, a sculpted metallic stallion charges across the dial, while the seconds hand counterweight bears the Chinese character for 'horse'. Hour markers and hands are fitted with self-powered bi-colour micro gas tubes for continuous luminosity, complemented by a Super-LumiNova minute track and a sapphire crystal. The result is a distinctive, men's watch that blends tradition with contemporary hand-crafted detail.

About Ball
Ball traces its roots to Ohio's railroads. After the Great Kipton train wreck of April 1891, jeweller Webb C. Ball was appointed Chief Time Inspector, and his strict inspection standards reshaped American railroad timekeeping. The Webb C. Ball Watch Company was formed in 1894 to distribute railroad watches, and in 2001 Ball introduced the first mechanical watch lit by micro gas tubes.
