The Seiko 5 Sports HDB002K pairs a warm ivory dial with the Field series GMT layout, giving a second time zone on the 24-hour hand.
The 39.4mm stainless steel case sits behind curved Hardlex and is water resistant to 100 metres, while the automatic calibre 4R34 delivers roughly 41 hours of reserve and accepts hand-winding. A see-through screw case back reveals the movement, LumiBrite on the hands and indexes handles low light, and the steel bracelet fastens with a three-fold clasp and push-button release.

Japanese watchmaking since 1881

Where Seiko 5 began
Seiko 5 traces back to the 1963 Sportsmatic 5, the first Japanese automatic watch with a day-date display. The Seiko 5 Sports name followed in 1968.
Wound either way
Seiko's Magic Lever, introduced in 1959, winds the mainspring whichever way the rotor turns, and it is still used in many Seiko automatics.

3-year worldwide warranty
Every Seiko watch from Watch Direct comes with a 3-year worldwide manufacturer’s warranty.
Watch Direct is an authorised Seiko retailer, trading since 2011.

About Seiko
Seiko began in 1881, when 21-year-old Kintaro Hattori opened a shop selling and repairing watches and clocks in Tokyo, moving it to Ginza in 1887. In 1892 he founded the Seikosha factory, and in 1924 the first watch to carry the Seiko name was released. On 25 December 1969 Seiko launched the Quartz Astron, the world's first quartz wristwatch.
