The Prospex Speedtimer HBJ005P marks 145 years of Seiko with a purple dial inspired by Edo purple and a bi-colour aluminium tachymeter bezel that nods to the vintage Speedtimer.
A 41.4mm stainless steel case holds the V192 solar calibre, which runs roughly six months from a full charge and needs no battery changes, timing to one-fifth of a second across sixty minutes with a 24-hour hand, small seconds, power reserve indicator and date. Curved sapphire with anti-reflective coating keeps the dial clear, LumiBrite covers low light, and water resistance reaches 100 metres. This men's watch is limited to 8,000 pieces.
